Hi Alan,
do you need a custom aluminum made fuel tank pickup for your A1000 ? It's the one I used for 2 month when I had the A1000 too. Feed line is AN#10, return line is AN#8. Bye. -------------------- Wolf_Tm (Parma;Italy) [Silat-Kali]

MCS is a big forum vendor at mr2oc and they are great. we had a communication issue but the job they did was immaculate. id recommend them again just for being a 3sgte specialist.

Ok guy huge change in plans hehe, I am not sending my head away I am going to do everything myself, ill be more prode of the result.
Here what i am going to do Not using the motor I sold it in fact, Ill be using my 3rd gen 3SGE with alot of custom work incuding inlet manifold ect, I am still using the parts I have now. Next week ordering clutch, timing belt gasket, All HKS, have one slight dilemma, What F**king Transmisson should I use, Will the mr2 LSD tranny be the best choice I currently have the S54 but there are no clutches for it, there are but small diameter, I want power so hence larger diameter Also ill be using the standar head for this as the cams have longer durations and higher life I need some good advice before ordering my clutch!!! -------------------- |

From the mr2s' I've seen use the s54 tran. but they're output is around 400 whp. I would believe it would work for the extra 100+whp you're wanting.

interesting plans alan.
i would go with the e153, not so much because of clutch size (its only 11mm diffrence between the s54 (225mm) VS the e153 (236mm) but because of gearing. if your planning on tracking the car (which i hope you are) you'll be better served by the e153 gearing. -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)

The gearing isn't that much of a difference. You need to remember that the EU/JDM S54 tranny has a smaller F/D (3.9xx compared to the US 4.2xx) thus effectively having longer gears.
