Sportline/ProKit/TRD, Which is firmest? Options

Does anyone know which will give a firmer ride, Eibach Sportline Spring Set with the 1.5 inch drop or the Eibach Pro Kit with the 1 inch drop and are the TRD springs that are made by Eibach and give a 1 inch drop exactly the same as the Pro Kit or are TRDs made to a different firmer spec by Eibach than the Pro Kit. I dont want to go too low but i want the spring that will give me maximum handling with comfort an afterthought. And does anyone have comments about the quality/performance of H&R springs? I thought of them too but dont hear much about them.



I was just reading this review site and people were saying the drop sags over time and sometimes certan springs sag before others and ending up with a 2.5" drop. I cant go that low, my roads suck horribly.

Yes... TRD springs are *rebadged* Eibachs.

I've own both Eibachs and H&R's... the ride quality is the same. I currently have H&R's in the rear and custom-made springs in the front.

Here's my advice: Just don't go lower that 1.5, and you'll be fine.

As far as the sagging theory goes: Yes, you will notice it sag... which should happen immediately after turning a few corners around your block. But by no means will it sag beyond what it's rated at. Whoever told you that it will sag to 2.5" is blowing some major smoke...

What you will notice (with a lowered car) is that when you jack up your car (say to change a flat or rotate tires), the side that you jacked up will be slightly raised. Driving around the block will cause it to sag back to normal... but definitely not 2.5"

Thanks for that, but which are firmer, the 1 inch drops or the 1.5 inch drops? The guy at CJs tire said the sportlines are firmer which makes sence because they are lower and they would have to be firmer so you dont bottem out. Im just worried about the crapy roads around me so the 1 inch drop would be better but I dont want the ride to be like stock and just lowered.

Id really like to see how the 1inch drop of the Pro Kit looks on a 6 gen celica cause i want the drop to be noticable but not slammed because again the roads are not the greatest. Does anyone have these or know of a picture of them.
