As I was driving back home from work on a not so very well lit street, I realized that my stock lights aren't really bright enough (they're stock). SO the question is, what brand bulbs should I get to have more vision @ night, and is there anything good avalible at a good price? Thanks smile.gif

if you want to go really cheap and if you are really lazy like me, you can go to the nearest autozone or something of that sort and get sylviana silverstars, they are bright as hell and they look good too. brightest ones they sell at those kinds of shops.

I agree get some Sylvania Silverstars for your low's and high's looks awesome. as for fogs i'd go with Nokya Hyper Yellows (JDM style) or if you want some non-yellow fogs, Luminics Pure Blue. then again those are my opinions smile.gif

If you want a good set of blubs..they are a bit more expensive but go with PIAA. I have ALL PIAA lights, including my reverse lights. They cost like $30 or $40 more than a set of silverstars, but they are gaurenteed for a year. Only bulb with a warrenty more than 90 days. Plus they are super super super bright. In my 83 celica i did an H4 conversion, and i have PIAA extream white bulbs in there, if i put them on to the highbeams and walked infront of the car in the middel of the night i could come back into the car with a sun tan.

I was dissappointed with the PIAAs. They light up just fine, nice and bright, but the color difference with my 6000k HID makes me regret spending 125$ for a pair.

I'll tell you straight up bang for your buck. Nokya bulbs are the cheapest and are super bright. Sylvanias are stock replacements but are brighter than the norm. PIAA are bright too but price is expensive. So I just answered your question. If you plan to run aftermarket bulbs over 55 watts, buy a heavy duty wire harness to prevent melting of your factory harness. I believe Nokya bulbs are 7000k and fogs are 2500k.

i was looking on Password JDM the other night, and you can get "super yellow" bulbs for your high and low beams. they're like $36.99 a pair, but I think it would be cool to run standard bulbs for your low beams, and yellow bulbs in the highs, kinda go with a different look. I'm buying a pair for my highs here soon. it says they're out of stock, so you might have to call. bummer.

I'm not a fan of Sylvania Silverstars, even though that is what I have. I have burned through a couple bulbs within a few months. When I called them, they said that if they go out, you can mail the defect to them and they will mail you a new one.

I really am looking for a nice BRIGHT bulb to put in my ST202 foglights. Any suggestions?

Use high beams lights in your low beam sockets, 70% more lights and its 8$ a bulb. Can't beat that!
