pretty random topic but i was wondering if any of you guys know of any banks with good saving accounts?
my dad showed me one i had and it only had .25% interest lol. |

Credit unions usually have better interest rates than regular banks. Usually, Universities have their own credit union..

If you aren't going to touch the money for a while, you can go to Key Bank (www.key.com) and put it in a High Interest CD. You can put it in for as long as you want, and it gains some decent interest. The only downside is if you take ANY amount out of it before the specified date, you have to pay fees.

i have ingdirect. their interest is 4.5% for savings account and 4% for checking account. if you are referred by me and put in 250 as an initial deposit u get an extra $25 free and i get 10 =) so pm me ur email and ill send u a refer link. i need money, lol.

forget a savings account, go with an IRA....makes money alot faster....better for retirement kinda thing though...

Bank of America has a thing right now they are doing w/ Savings accounts called Keep The Change. Every time you buy something w/ your bank card it will round up to the nearest dollar & put that change amount in your savings. I havent read the details yet so Im not sure if there is a catch or not...

i think it's ebank.com or somethng like that it has a 3%rate .....my buddy was telling me about it. it's FDIC and you just have to have a minimum of 50 bucks. also emigrantdirect.com they have 5.05%
