Some how i cant see you having 17lb on a stock 5sfe. The only way is if you drive like a granny.... I had my 5sfe running 12lb and blew it up. I did drive it hard every day so that didnt help.

my boost is at 12 first gear, 17 second and third never really have a chance to read cuz the clutch is out.... i dont have any type of boost controller

How can you have a different boost level through the gears with no boost controller.????

I would sugest you turn your boost down before you catch the bus to work....

even on the gauge you have....you want to be seeing something in the 0.92 to 0.94 range...0.87 is most likely on the lean side of things...but it will vary depending on where the o2 sensor is mounted.

his boost controller is the wastegate spring which seems to be set to 17psi from what he describes. The stock 6G gearing is short. This means that the car is out accelerating the turbo.. So he's not building full boost to 3rd gear.

just to give you an idea (IIRC)
0.87 O2 is around 13.5:1 ,
0.93 O2 is around 12.5:1 ,
0.96 O2 is around 11.5:1

...

If you want to keep running this boost/power level. I would recommend a meth injection kit with a 3.24 GPH nozzle...and of course a better clutch to hold the power

I don't get this, you're boosted with the only injectors as fuel upgrade with NO check engine light?
