I am getting hard pressed finding a 6GC here in Ohio that fits my needs...under 100k (around 75k preferabbly) around 9k spending...auto or manual doesn't matter....geesh...if anyone wants to search around i'm at Tiffin, Ohio, 44883. I've looked on AutoTrader a LOT.
If I don't find a Celica, does anyone have any good alternatives to it? I'm looking for something that can hold up through my senior year of HS, and some years at college. Something sporty would be nice, and not Honda, the only Honda I like is the Del Sol. I don't want a Mustang either. Anything that stands out is nice, this town is nothing but Civics and Stangs. Anyone? -------------------- |

yea, nissans are nice. the 300zx twin turbo are sweet but expensive insurance. nissan 240sx or 200sx are good and cheap. put silvia sr20det engine in it and you will be one quick car...

He WILL not find a Z32 (300zx) that has under 100,000 miles, unless he pays 12 grand or more, and if he gets the TT, he'll have to buy new turbos, and all that jazz. Not worth it. Besides he wants Celica alternatives. 300zx is a Supra alternative.

i dont know how easy they are to find, probably pretty hard and theyre abit older than 6gc, but you could look at Mazda MX6 or Ford Probe? smooth 2.5 v6 and pretty nice looking. 94 shape Preludes are pretty nice but cramped interiors and its a honda

i dont trust mx6's/probes, seem too troublesome... if I never would have bought a 6gc, id probably go for a 5th gen celica, 92+ prelude, integra gsr, 200sx SER, or 90's 240sx. (no particular order)

Dude... I just did a search on autotrader using the following criteria: - Celica - 44883 - Under 100,000 miles - 0 to $9000 - Within 300 miles At least 15 listings came up... As a matter of fact, there's a black one that is within 78 miles... Is there something MORE SPECIFIC that you're looking for? **Click Here** |

Yea man, I'd have to say your not searching correctly. Internet, newspaper, online, dealers. Go to a Toyota dealership and say you want a 6th gen, say how many miles, and what trim, and how much you are willing to lay down. They are MORE than happy to find one and sell it to you.

Yep. Go for the sixth gen celica. Much more rare and will last you longer than any other car. Their reliability ratings are higher than Civics and Corollas. It's worth the search. A lot of people are getting 250,000+ miles out of their's and still running good.

Psh, for the cash you're willing to lay down...there are atleast 3 heavilly modded Celicas being sold in the range of 8-9K...I would drive across the nation for that if I had the cash.

That's why you pay the guy an extra 500 bucks or so to drive it to you.
