$500 + shipping.
It has no engine or tranny. Drive axles, motor mounts and all are still there though. Was gonna have a Levin SC engine dropped in but the guy ran out of money after he bought the clip. Retarded to drop the project IMO. This post has been edited by Negative: Mar 29, 2007 - 8:26 AM -------------------- |

He won't sell it no more! Sorry I forgot about this thread also haha.
Just FYI... I'm locked on for a silvia s12! I like it and looks better than a AE86 IMO. 1987-1988 200sx SE V6. (They are not the ugly newer Nissan 200sx) This belongs in the silvia class. 160hp 200 torque RWD. Found one for $800! But it was sold the day after I went and looked at it. Just an FYI. |

No I mean both. They have serious cooling issues for starters. I think quite a bit of it has to do with the way people drive them though. You don't see many MR2T's being driven by someones grandmother. A lot of them are garage kept weekend cars - and what do you do when you take out your weekend toy? Drive it very hard. That means that for the lifetime of the car it was driven hard. At least that's my expereince with second hand MR2T's. My frineds fuel pump just went out last night on a 93 MR2T with only 80K on the clock. Kept blowing EFI fuses and it took us all night to figure out what it was. No CEL for that one Bottom line - if reliability is your goal - keep the Celica. If you want a car that's a bit more fun to drive [for some] - get the 2. Edit - BTW if you want to work out the backs of your legs - work on a 2 for 3 hours straight [if you've ever worked on one you know what I'm talking about]. It takes almost that long to pull the Turbo and intercooler and piping. And don't even get me started on the "hose from hell". [/quot my bros MR2T never had any cooling issues and he has the car for 10yrs. Its his DD and it is a PITA to work on the car though.
