You're going from a 9006 to an H4 you cut off the two wires coming out of the 9006 harness. You crimp them to the h4 harness. What do you mean what wire? I think i know what you mean and it doesn't matter. -------------------- Buy my Celica $2,500 - http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=76562&st=0

dont cut!!!!!!
i just got h4 connectors, pulled the one wire out of it so it was just the 2 that i need so it looks all clean, then the other end of the pig tails i just stripped them and tinned? them (made stiff w/ solder) then just inserted into the existing 9006 harness - this way no cutting and going back to stock is still possible, plus it looks clean =) just get diff diameters of heat shrink and make it all weather proof then, im working on that now actually took 3rd wire out simple connection no cutting -------------------- you know why they put sheep at the edge of a cliff.... that way they push back!

lol Jason you and I just took the same pictures of the connector.
the reason i cut the old connector off is because i swapped headlights with someone who had projectors and cut off the orig connector so they needed the 9006 connectors back. The other reason is if i ever decide to sell my car I might want to sell the projectors separately then i can just the h4 connectors off and crimp the old ones back on. i hope you don't mind Jason but i'm adding your pics to my projector thread in the sticky.
