On or off? If it's off the rain would splash up and keep the bottom end cleaner, maybe cooler? Also I plan on having the Accord CAI, not sure how close to the ground it would put the filter, but I don't want to suck up water.

I wouldn't remove it. The CAI isn't going to suck up water, but the engine will get really dirty with it off. It's not worth the weight saved. It also helps out at high speeds to smooth air flow.

Thanks for the replies! I asked because the left side of mine tore off and I wanted to tear the rest off. I geuss I'll start looking for a replacement.
