I break for animals, getting rear ended because you slammed on your breaks for a "animal" is much more lagit then because you wanted to test your breaks.

I find it humorous to just slow down when someone is tailgating me. For example, I am doing 60 in a 55. Someone is tailgating me. I slow down to 45. Most people understand with this method that they are not going to get there faster by riding my ass, so they back off and I speed back up. If they don't understand, I "think" I see a deer in the road, so I slam on my brakes.

That's funny - I do the same thing only I just let off the gas and let gravity slow me down. The other day I was in the middle of 3 lanes on the freeway @75MPH [ours are 70mph BTW] and this minivan starts tailgaiting me even though both lanes on either side are totally open. I actually got down to 45MPH and had to put on the gas again because minimum speed is 40MPH and I really don't want that ticket. LOL.
He still stayed behind me until I got off and he didn't even look mad or anything. WTF?

I don't let gravity slow me down, I just shift into 3rd or something and slow down like that. No brakes.

my friend has the best way of gettin ppl to stop tail gating him on the highway. He has a S13 with a built RB25 in it. If some one is tailgating him on the highway he just punches it, gets about 3 car lengths inbetween him and the other car...opens his sunroof, and throws a ball bearing out his roof. It sucks cuz you have time to see it b4 it hits your windsheild, but not enough time to move out of the way. He said no one ever tailgates him now..and if he doesnt have any balls, he just gives her and can usually get some space pretty quickly.

obviously you guys have never driven in a majour city in canada on a highway. Toronto, Montreal, Quebec city...all of thouse highways, you gotta b a stupid agressive driver and if you think thats bad, you havent seen any thing. My friend was driving north of montreal, doing 140km/h gettin pushed in the slow lane *he was going slowest of all the lanes too*, some guy passed him and started shootin his car with a paintball gun. My buddy mainly does it because people in the big cities here are complete duchebags. When i headed him on the weekend, the slowest i could/did go was 125km/h. I slowed down to 115 and almost got hit.
