ill look and see if i have a pic, but how are you planning on doing this and why?? the only thing i dont like about the sunroof is that you get about and inch more head room with out it. but anyway im curious about your plans.

I'm doing some car stuff today so I'll take a pic then.

It's interesting that you want to take it off. I really miss having a sunroof (my last car an Integra had one)!

Here's a thought - do you think it would be too hard to add a sunroof to an ST without one? (by too hard I also mean too expensive! wink.gif). If not and you were keen to sell the assembly I would be very interested.

Oh BTW I'm 6' - do you think that would be too tall?

Edit: OK here's the pics. I was gonna pull the headliner out and take some pics but it looked like too much work so I left it. I hope these are what you're after.

Im 6'3 so you would be fine, I would definetly sell you the sunroof. About installing it I wouldnt think it would be too hard, but if you could get me a pic of the roof without the headliner wink.gif i could tell you for sure. Im not sure what the ST roof looks like so not positive it would fit.

ya I like the integra sunroof too my sister has on and it opens on top of the roof instead of opening into the roof which is why the celica's takes up some much room.

OK I'm playing cars with a friend tomorrow so if I'm feeling adventurous I'll pull it off and take some pics then. The problem is that all the panels areound the pillars and stuff have to be removed to pull the headliner off kindasad.gif

Actually my Integra was the previous model where the sunroof opened into the roof. And I was under the impression that the Celica one opened out! Oh well I'm still interested.

My Celica has an aftermarket sunroof. I like it, but the only problem is that it squeaks a lot, but doesn't leak. When open, it goes over the roof rather than in it and there's no sliding plastic cover to prevent the sun from coming in.

That's the best pic I have of it at the moment. I'll try to get more when it leaves the body shop.....in like a month.....:-\

thats pretty sweet, looks bigger that the stock sunroofs, so how much did that cost you? it prolly give Mangozac and good idea what it'd cost if he bought mine.

Yeah good idea. Sorry but I still didn't get a chance to pull off my headliner today. I had a quick look and a yank but it seems to be attached pretty solidly...

The biggest question is whether it would require any kind of work that would mean the roof needs to be repainted. I was hoping that it would simply be a matter of cut out the hole and drop the assembly in but I get the feeling it can't be that simple. kindasad.gif

I'll have to ask my bro-in-law that as he was the one that did it. Hopefully he remembers since it's been a while since he did it.

It's a Webasto sunroof. From what he remembers, they were a port installed option from Toyota from way back when.

You can find more info here.
