hmm, i honestly have not seen the difference between the anniversay edition and the st. when i bought my 96 st "anniversary edition" (or so said the sticker on the fender), it didnt look any different to me than the regular st.

The 96 aniv edition should have a # by the rear view mirror.
As far as skirts go I doubt many came with them as it was still an option. The anny edition STs didn't even have the 15 in alloys like the 97 LEs, unless it was ordered as an option. Should have same dragon badge on front fender as 97 le, different decal, same black reflective badging, 25th anny floormats. I see you already own a 97 LE vert in deep jewel green, so you should know the badging, if it is the same I seriously doubt it is a fake. The toyota emblems alone are over $30.00 each. -------------------- JDM guy made me do it.

Mine had skirts, but I bought it off a rich italian guy who almost cried when I drove it away, so I'm sure he was all about the options.

moon roof and side skirts and JBL audio are optional. 96, 97 special Celicas are nothing but a regular ST with a couple slapped on stickers and badges..
