ok well like it says in the title im have a problem with my horn. its like this everytime i honk it stays on and i have to turn off the car for it to stop honking. its actually kind of funny because just the other day so guy with his f 150 came into my lane and almost clipped me but luckily i honked and he backed off but the horn stayed on and he thought that i was flipping him off lol. well when i got to the stop light he wanted to fight me and i was like dude the horn got stuck and i couldnt turn it off. Well it was funny the first time but i kinda really have to fix it otherwise im eventually going to get my ass kicked XD. I wuld really apperciate any help on how to fix the problem.

Maybe the horn switch or relay? Could be staying closed after you let off of it. Or something could be physically holding it down (open)? For fun you could wire you horn to your brake or gas...do it at work sometimes with the tugs. But if you want to you could remove the horn fuse, that would at least keep it from honking, but you couldnt use your horn.

seems like your car is kind of horny!!!

disconnect the battery, take the airbag out and check the steering wheel connection. there may be something loose there.

Yeah, if that dosent fix it, then try replacing the relay, its located in your engine bay fuse box thing. a new relay shouldnt cost that much, you can get them at auto zone.

there are two black pieces of platic that pull off both sides of the wheel... inside are three star bolts that are in there super tight... get the right bit for a screw driver... DO NOT try to use something that kind of fits.. you will strip them i promise and never get them out.. i forget what size they are... and then the airbag pulls out... and then the wheel connections are under that... kinda easy... DISCONNECT YOUR BATTERY... you don't want the airbag blowing on your face when you are working on it

Thanks for the tips, I have this same problem with my 94 celica, my horn just does not work. I fallowed the wire all the way to the steering wheel thing, i checked the fuse in the relay(?) under the hood, fuse isn't blown, but i think there is another one, I couldn't get that one off.

I still own my celica, but i'm parting it out and junking it.. Or selling as a whole. Have a honda prelude now :(
