I'm gonna take a stab - Old Skool Honda Hatch - Mid Engine RWD Turbo?
If so that's gonna be sick. The center console peice is for stiffening? Gonna be HEAVY tho right? BTW - Love the addition of the cup holders. I hated the fact that my '81 GT and '86 GTS/3S-GTE swap Celicas had no cup holders. At the end of the day it's a stupid thing to worry about with such cherry old skool cars but how nice does the cars interior stay when you keep dumpin drinks in them? its a late 70's Honda civic ( 1st gen).
1. i almost got an old celica a few months ago and was gonna put a v8 in it but the guy wanted more than i was willing to pay. 2.this car cost 150 but overall 1000 so far 3.that ALUMINUM in the rear is to cover up my 2002 750 gsxr engine that i will put back there ....mid engine RWD chain driven IRS and turbo eventually 4. yeah the center piece will be welded in for stiffness or a "backbone" as i have heard it called. also i will mount the shifter in it just behind the cup holders 5. speaking of CUP HOLDERS lol i had it sitting in there w/o them and i was just looking for something more to use the chassis punches we had and it just hit me...CUP HOLDERS! oh and the dash is aluminum and the louvers on the rear will have an electric fan or two to help out the airflow we haven't got the chance to take it into class yet so i am still debating on whether or not to cut the floor, and front apron out and make a complete tubular perimeter frame OR just to do a back half and put a 4 point cage in it. if i back half it i might just make a set of strut tower braces for the ole celica .....oh and this lil Honda will have more power than the celica and weigh more than 900lbs less.....it will have half the torque too but anyways.... here's my inspiration http://videos.streetfire.net/search/6n+pol...89a0136bc96.htm -------------------- Coming in 2010 full paintjob - new wheels - modified body - new interior - engine build- marriage |

oh yeah i will add flares to it http://www.showcars-bodyparts.com/rabbit.html if they fit! or some classic mini flares. fab up some aluminum seats. use the stock gixxer gauge cluster on the dash, get some wheels similar to these http://www.takumiproject.com/search_result.asp pretty much any of the old schooley wheels that have more than 4 spokes in black, gold or gunmetal all with polished lip

link for wheels dont work. But looks cool. You got any pics of the engine/how your driving the wheels? Ive thought about doing a GSXR engine in my buddies geo. Hes wanted to, but he couldnt figure out how to setup the driveline for the tranny to drive the wheels.
