dunno if this a re-post but I found a Curren being sold on ebay. its located in Sacramento and would be perfect for a front end conversion. you could even sell off the excess parts and make back a portion of the initial investment.

i dont know whats up with the 1975 crap but its a 98, that's what is said in the description anyway. its selling pretty cheap...even tho its just a shell, you would think it would be worth more than that, i wish i had 1200, i would do conversion in heart beat, even tho circle headlights make the car so nice imo

hey,
that is not a 98 curren it is more like a 94-96 .. the steering wheel is same a 94-96 and there is no pass airbag as all 98+ st2** 's had dual airbags .. taillights are 94-96 as well .. if it was 98 it would have beams motor but looking at it it may have the 3sfe base motor in it .. if it goes for less than 1500 it will be a great buy .. i would love to have as it would be a great daily driver next to my white 95 GT4.. d- |

hey,
why the hell would you say it was a 1975 as a cop will easily be able to tell something is up ..if it was that easy i would title my GT4 as a 75' limited edition .. throw on some 13's and add some brown tweed seats and no one will ever know.. oh i forgot the school bus sized steering wheel in brown w/ deluxe vinyl trim... i think i would rather just get a US coupe and buy a curren front clip as the interior is identical to celica.. regardless of what he titled under it is a 94-96 not a 98 .. those wheels look tiny on it so i that is why i assumed it might be a Jdm stripper 3sfe model .. d- |

Currens are fairly recent cars... a camry off-shoot in the early 90's I think... Anyone considered it may have just been a simple typo? hehe... |

i think it looks more like an early model ES 300 than a camry, but other than the looks the camry and the ES are for all intents and purposes the same car

the es 300 has a better engine and is nicer inside, well the newer ones at least, dunno bout oldschool.
and a curren is a celica with a "silvia-ish" front end. i thought we all already new that. |

bahahaha its a bit manky looking
he exaggerated the cost they go for in nz as well... more like $7000-12000NZD or around $3700-$6500USD how hard is it to do a front swap? theres a few s14, s13 silvias around with s15 fronts and i'd think that would be harder to do than a celica/curren swap??? |
