I was wondering if anyone has done or knows someone that done it-put ST205 rear spoiler risers ona 6gc coupe. If so, does the riser need to be modified to do this application (picture would be greatly appreciated).

Is it really that common to put ST205 raiser blocks meant for a hatchback onto a Coupe? Maybe i just haven't seen it... but i always thought it didn't fit..

I think it could fit but it would require some work and modifications to the raiser blocks since the curves of both the hatchback and coupe models are different. It would be something unique since I haven't seen a coupe with it on. Hey Mauibuilt, why don't you post some pix of your car so that someone on the forum can try and photoshop it to see how it will turn out.

i am so sorry. i completely read that wrong. i am so dumb. i was thinking "what the heck? have you not seen a pick of anyones cars." then now that you point out that it says this is for a 'coupe.'
now i have my foot in my mouth i totally apologize for my ignorance. my only excuse (which doesn't justify my post) is that i had just gotten home from the school after studying for several hours and doing homework.
to be honest i don't know what would need to be done to get them to fit. i think it would look good though. most people that i have seen with a diff spoiler on the coupe go with either a aftermarket supra style or get the curren trd style spoiler.
once again sorry kindasad.gif

You can put the ST205 blocks on a 3-post hatch, but you have to fill the center holes from that 3rd post and drill a hole or two on each side to properly mount it. Or the super duper easy method - find a 94-95 hatch lid and swap them.

you can convert from a 3-post to a 2-post with ST205 blocks. but you can't put the blocks on a 3-post spoiler. (which is what it sounded like you were asking)
