ok..so i got a window rollup module, but after everything is wired i get three clicks coming from the module everytime it receives a signal...and the windows wont roll up. wtf??
i connect:
the red wire to the + ter
the yell wire to the ignition ON
blacky to - ter
...powerout from the module i connect them to the green & red wires of the motor..
....signal wire is connected to the actuator....

...and...click...click...click....

can anyone please shine a light for me on this..i have been looking at it for the past 3 hours but...*sigh*

thanks

what are you using to activate the module?

you need a constant negative ground for the window module to work.
(this may very depending on each manufacture. but the general installation requires this)

im using a negative wire of the actuator of the driver's door.which might not be correct..(blue/white)
can you tell me all the wire colours that i have to connect the module to in order for it to work, thanks

edit: i found a link http://www.caraudiomag.com/technical/0508c..._window_module/ it says that i need to slice one of the motor wire and connect the two wires
from the module to it...but thats a roll up/dn module (fig2). mine is only up..so i don think i need to cut anything do i?

i'm slightly confused..

can you show me the wire diagram on the window roll up module.
for my set up i had to cut the motor wire also.

here are the wire colors for the windows on the celica:

LF Window up/down Green - Red Drivers Door Switch
RF Window up/down Grn/Wht - Red/Blu Driver Kick Panel
LR Window up/down Grn/Wht - Red/Wht LR window switch
RR Window up/down Green - Red RR window switch

ok....so which wires i have to cut and join with those coming from the module?
yea the diagram i showed you is similar if not exactly same as the module's manual. those wires are coming out from the module.
LF n RF i understand but LR n RR, r those stands for left and right rear?? celica only has two door isnt it?
...confused...

The celica convertable have rear windows. Since you didn't state what kind of celica you own, i decided to post all four windows just incase.

well, if this is the standard window roll up module. Then you will need to cut the green and green/white wires at your window switch and attach it to your module. just like figure 2 of your diagram.

I dont understand why you would need a relay.
another thing to note is, you do not need to attach the green/yellow wire to your acc.

try that and let me know if it works.

ok, i'll try that tomorrow..just bak from movie... 300..its awesome.

just to make sure, abt the signal which wire should i connect it to?
....thanks

ED: i opened the module today, changed the configuration abit. Originally it has 5 doors as factory settings, so i turned the other 3 jumpers off.
now it gives me 1 click then a long pause then another click......think the pauses are meant for rolling up the windows.
oh well..let u know tomorrow

it depends on what module it is.

i think your module rolls up one window at a time. So the first click is the first window, and the second click is the second window to be rolled up.
