Name some bands that you listen to. No rap (unless its GOOD rap ala Common, Talib Kwali, J-5 etc.) and no mainstream stuff. Strictly underground stuff. Preferably punk rock. OK GO...

QUOTE(Supersprynt @ Apr 7, 2007 - 8:20 AM) I think the latest from 30 Seconds From Mars is quite good. +300 that in my cd player right now..but if he is a scenne kid that may be to mainstream for him. the best thing is music that you like to listens too..not music that you listen to so you can say you listen to someone bofore someone else.. Not to burst bubbles or anything but Bands play to e known and make a good lifestyle forthemselves you cant blame them for going mainstream..if my band ever got big enough to be on the radio id jump all over it. Hell ive listened to many bands before anybody else heard of them especially Gym Class Heroes favorite band of all time but i cant get mad at them for being good at what they do thats why i listen to them..my only compplaint about band getting big is when you go to there concert.and it filled with douchbags and not the music lover and ticket prices go through the roof. Try out lastfm
A couple friends got me turned onto it, it is basically a bunch of radio stations on the internet. you can also see what other members are listening to and sample a few tracks from their playlist. It plays a lot of really good stuff, I have found a lot of new bands that I like on there and I'm sure you would too.. -------------------- |

If you want kinda punkish sounding music...Turbonegro, CKY..Clutch...ummm...If you can find it *doubt you can because its stupid hard 2 find here*, Chore...they were an indie band out of a small town about 2 hours away from here..but i doubt you'll find any of their music outside of Toronto. Boysnightout, Blue Skys at war, shotgun rules. Thats all i can think of right now. |

some of my favorite bands as of late would have to be MAE, Hellogoodbye, cute is what we aim for, and boys like girls. to be honest i don't listen to the radio too much so i don't know if they would be considered mainstream or not. i didn't have an antenna on my car for over 2 months and really couldn't care to get one.
