lol, that was funny. Anyway, yeah, it does sound like a more realistic Fast and the Furious kind of thing, sounds pretty fun if you ask me. Next time you go to the Runs, see if you can get some pics.

the street racers all meet at two places within 7 miles of my house, on is really close to magic mountain, the other is at a 7 11 store. the place where everyone races at is an empty industrial center, in almost a perfect square with several cross streets all of which are wide, long, and clear all the time. BTW, i rarely see someone there even in the daylight. im waiting till i have installed all my stuff before i hit those areas looking for a race.

oh and where i live, at night there are no more than 15 patrol cars out, and i know where all of them are assigned to be.

its good to know someone in the shariffs station!

the problem is that chp also patrols our streets but only during traffic ours.

Yeah i've heard good things about that spot out there by magic. I think when i have my car finished i'l head out there also. Or i could go now too, just to check it out. Hey 97sccelica, do you think that you could PM me w/ the direction to that spot, or could we meet up one night?

The other spots that i used to run at are pretty much BURNT. The cops are already there waiting for us. So i need a new spot to look for.

http://www.originaltommys.com/maps/valencia.html

they usually meet at that tommy's on saturday nights around 11:30. cops really dont do anything cuz they use the exuse that they are all eating at tommy's food or gettin gas at the station next door.

i'll let you know when i will start going there.

oh and just to let you know, the local punishment for street racing is 1 night in jail and car impounding for a month, no jail if you are under 18.

but in the past year, only 2 people have been arrested for street racing and that was actually right on my street practically, some civic base model and a 4dr integra
