One of my neighbors has a 88 Celica All-Trac with 3sgte 70k miles that he just took out of his garage after 5 years. I didnt realize he even had it. Here i was looking for a front clip online not even knowing that my neighbor had one he doesnt even what anymore. So i ask him how much he wants for and he tells me $800. Should i buy it? If i do i want to swap that engine onto my st. I cant wait to take it for a spin tommorrow.I gonna post of up pics when i get my hands on a camera.

any1 know what gen 3s comes on a 88?

I'd keep that all-trac as is and fix it up... its only $800 and 70k miles? Do some mods and necessary fixes and have fun with it and keep ur celi as a daily. my 2 cents

EDIT: Take pics too bc i'll drive down and buy it if u don't! smile.gif

Buy it and keep it, or through a newer 3sgte in it. Thats a great price, I want a 4th gen alltrac so bad. I would give my car up for one.

Buy the car, get it running. Don't do the swap... the first gen 3s-gte has its own set of problems that you don't want to deal with in your newer car.

Get it as cheap as possible. Post pics for us. Dont use the engine except in the 88 alltrac car. Its not worth putting in your car. Plus you will have awd if you leave it alone. wink.gif
