To late to build for boost anyone? with you rebuilding the engine frist .. yes and no.. you can mechanically do it.. would i suggest it .. NO ... do that to an engine with that many mile is like taking a 60 year old man or women and telling to run a marathon, hart could pop at any moment. -------------------- |

Damn, so I have no other choice when my motor blows the cheapest way to do it is the 3s swap.

A few years back I saw a Corolla up in Canada that had 732,000 klicks on it... 458,000 miles. (not a typo). The guy claimed that it was still running the original engine, but I don't know if that was true or not.

Theres plenty of 5s out there that are cheap enough to just drop right in and put my kit on them too exactly! you can get one for like $200-500 or so. that's way less than a 3sgte, even if you get only the engine and not a front clip. for a new 5s, you only need an engine and maybe a couple other things depending on the year of the 5s. but since I'd be rebuilding it, I'd try to get a 94-95 so I wouldn't have to chang anything over. then I could put a 98+ metal head gasket on it. -------------------- 94 GT - Sold -------- 69 Pontiac Lemans - Sold 88 Alltrac - Sold ---- 04 WRX - Sold 00 GT-S - Sold ------ 91 Miata - project/drift car 95 GT - Sold -------- 96 GT - New Daily Drive |
