Funny you should ask... I'm about to start producing these. I've just made mine from some I got from Sprinter. I'm gonna make my originals clear then, and sell them for about $40-45. (It takes about 5 days to get everything correctly done, and the glue I use costs, but will never let go.) The trick is though... you've gotta send me your old ones when you get the clears in. That way I can keep making them for other people. These will be with amber bulbs, so all you need is a screw driver to get them on your car. Just let me know, and I'll post up some pics of how they will look.

This is the last set I made. These pics are of the lights about 90% finished. That is the old way i did them. I have a new idea and am going to try it of on the next pair i make. Looks like Fallenhero wants you all to buy his so i will not post any prices or ask for orders. Dont want to be a low baller here and steal buisness.

Hey bro, it's no problem. If you can beat $45, more power to you. In the words of a great man, "It’s not personal, it’s business."
ANYWAY. My idiot brother didn't bring home his camera, thus no pics. I told him to bring it tomorrow. As you can all see in 1b's pics, the glued area is the worst part of the lense. On that part I painted mine silver to match my car. On any I make, the border will be painted either silver, or I can tint the boarder black. AND, if you'd be willing to pay 50-55, I'll paint it the color of your choice. Like I said, I'll post up pics hopefully tomorrow night of the lenses on my car. On a side note, I tinted my (or one of my) tails tonight. EHH! Didn't look near as good as I had thought. The tint just blended into the red and didn't look good. SO, to all you coupe owners, If I can sell a few of these clears, I'll try toi start making coupe tail lights with a clear lense where the amber is. Woot. Ok, do we have anybody really interested in the turn signals here? |

if either of you can slap a clear lense on there, and spray the inside chrome for me, lemme know what you'd charge.. i want some "euro" type to match my JDM projectors. i've tried w/ some lexan type material, but it was too thick to get to set in the curved shape, and the light cover type material was too "white"...so basically, i'm lookin for CRYSTAL CLEAR lenses, no grooves, bumps, etc, and a chrome housing...w/ the clue part tinted black perhaps....
i know special orders suck, but i just haven't found the time to put these together, and you guys have confidence w/ this, where-as i would be a trial-error kinda thing... OOOORRRRRRR, if you all just wanna PM me about what kinda glue you use (as when i attempted to make mine, they would not stick), and other little tidbits, i will do it on my own. . thanks in advance, -John- -------------------- |
