you could probably get another used 7afe for like $500. maybe less. maybe spend a couple hundred more to have it rebuilt. then just drop it in. I don't see it costing 7,000 unless he bought the engine brand new from the dealership piece by piece and put it all together. biggrin.gif



I got my 7AFE for 300 and 300 for installation with new gaskets, water pump , timing belt , all fluids and spark plugs and warranty on top of that.

Wow, where'd ya get that done at b/c it looks like an awesome deal.

well that's with a brand new motor. with a used it would be less, but for a brand new 7A-FE from Japan it was gonna be anywhere from like 3500 to 7k.
