Anyone got any suggestions regarding chroming or nickle-plating?

Can the valve/rocker cover be chromed?
I have been trying to polish the cover but it would look great chromed

I've had a few valve covers chromed by www.chrome2go.com and they did a fairly good job.

how does that work? do you send it off to them and they chrome it?

can you drive without the valve cover? (sorry if thats a stupid question)

Mine cost 100 dollars,that included the price of the actual valve cover.
