Very briefly (as I think there'll be a "How-To" posted soon).
The original rubber handle and boot are one piece and glued to the e-brake arm.

I bought an aftermarket S-Racing "universal" fitting handle and boot.
I cut away all the original rubber.
The boot is easy - it just slips over the arm and then ties up around the handle when fitted.
However, the handle's inside diameter is way too large.
(BTW: The handle should come with a grub screw attachement at the base).
What I did was to cut up the original rubber into two thin strips, place these strips along the length of the arm and then force the handle over and down the arm.
In order to fill the gap by the button end of the handle, I squeezed in a rubber washer.
Then I tightened each grub screw equally.

Pictures to come soon.

well the thing is i want an entire new handle. i think the handle on the 96 celica is entirely to long and looks horrible. I have a short handle complete peice, but i need to take the whole handle off. its attached at the bottom with some funky rivot style pins.
