Went to look at a gt4 yesterday that has a blitz twin plate clutch and when you depress the pedal theres a rattling coming from the engine bay, let out the pedal and it stops.

The owner told me this is normal and most aftermarket twin plates do it,

is this true and is there anyway to get rid of the rattle?

or should i not consider buying?

Thanks, it is wierd though, why do they do it? Surely they could put something in there to stop it rattling?

All the plates are spinning and rubbing/hitting one an other i suppose.
I know that i can hear a slight noise coming from my stock tranny when i push the clutch down with an oem disc. But thats if i listen real hard for it.

correct^^^!!! most multi-plate clutches will do this due to plate rubb and unsprung disk... i like the noise!!! sounds like a ducati motorcycle clutch!!!!
