Hello guys, I'm a new guy here, I'm on misc. Supra forums, as I used to own a Toyota Supra. But it was wrecked so I needed a new daily, and I picked up this 95' Celica GT 5 speed, 150k miles, with sunroof for $2800. Pictures don't give the car justice.

It had a crappy radio, so I picked up an Alpine at my work, and put that in. I also gave it a decent cleaning. Tell me what you guys think.

j0e - Not really any plans, as it's a daily for me, I'm thinking maybe some coilovers so the twisties are more fun. smile.gif

Batman - I believe it's stock? But I just can't figure out how to get the damn thing to work, maybe I'm just dumb? LOL

Jaws - I don't know what percent tint is on it, but if I had to guess I'd say 30%.

Also guys, maybe it's just the 5S-FE that I have to get used to, but I tried to change the spark plugs, #1 came out fine, tried #2 and the spark plug 5/8 just couldn't grab onto it, same with the others. #1 was the only one I could grab on and get out. I put a new spark plug in #1, and it looks like the other cylinder plugs are a bit deeper down then the others, am I missing something?

hey man...first off, welcome and nice celica...very clean. Second...that happend to me when i first changed my spark plugs. The first 3 came out fine, then the last one just wouldnt grab. I just put three new ones in and left the last one. I tried again like a week later and it came out no problem. I have no reason why this happened lol and its probably no help to you, just wanted to share that it happened to me too. Goodluck man.

I had that type at one time.. went to the garbage though. It is a "factory" installed "aftermarket" ghetto cruise. But people who wanted cruise from the factory in a certain car got this from them. Ah yes, going to love REAL oem cruise. smile.gif

Welcome to 6gc btw. thumbsup.gif

Thanks for the comments guys. Now I've been thinking about pepping it up a little bit, as it's pretty slow. I'd like to "zest" it up a bit. I was thinking maybe some new thicker spark plug wires, and a K&N replacement filter would help a bit. I'm doing a spark plug and oil change today as well so that should help it run even better.

Yeah, after looking at it I realized that some of the car has been repainted. frown.gif But it doesn't look bad at all.
