hey guys i hate to feel like i am sendig out ridiculous post but i am really need at this engine stuff and ..... an i jus rebuilt my 3SGTE ...., now i am being faced with a issuse of power steering fuild being pushed up from the power steering canister .... has anyone ever had that problem ... i kno there are 2 vaccum lines on the power steering pump ...how would i go ahead solving this problem

uh...when you mean canister you mean the resolver right ? And if the fluid is being pushed up that means you need more power steering fluid toyota recommends ATF for PS fluid. If its foaming that means theirs a leak somewhere in your PS system.

yeah well it is foaming .. and being pushed out the resolver..........Where is the PS system located ?

I don't have pics no DC kindasad.gif but heres something that might help you. BTW taking out the PS pump is a PITA !! I just finish replacing and putting mines together. I had the same problem as you replaced my pump and now its fine no foam or noises. Oh forgot XD one case is that it foams out if you don't bleed the system. wink.gif

thanx remy .. but let ask u .... there are vaccum lines that go on the back of the power steering pump ...... is there any special order as to how the vaccum lines should go ?

No theirs no order they have to go in make sure they're not bent,twisted or criss cross and just reconnect them. wink.gif

Hold on.

If pwr steering fluid is being shot out of the reservoir, there is probably too much fluid, NOT too little....

Foam is NOT always a leak.
It can and will foam sometimes when everything is normal.
Especially if you turn the wheel all the way.

Bleeding the pump is simply turning the wheel from side to side several times.

The vacuum lines are to raise the idle when you turn the wheel.
Order doesn't matter, but if there is a leak it will effect how your car runs.
