Yes. you did. did you read the bottle? your supposed to stall the engine out with the very last bit in the bottle and let the stalled out engine sit for around 10 mins. Then start it and watch the fun.

Hey dude. I just did mine last weekend. Only I used 3/4 of the bottle in the throttle body and stalled it. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes and then let it suck up the rest of the bottle into the throttle body on startup, drove it at high RPMs for a good while. Now it runs much smoother, better throttle response, but not a whole lot faster lol.
By the way, my engine has 164k on it. It did make my CEL turn on but that turned itself off after I changed the oil a couple days later. -------------------- |

yeah, you'll be fine stalling it out with the bottle. or the key, that shouldn't be to crucial.
i know i used alot more than 1/3 though. maybe your doing it right and i did it wrong, its been a while *shrugs -------------------- |

Yeah I just used the whole can, it's just super petroleum so it's not gonna hurt anything. There's a plug right in the front that you can disconnect to stall your engine, that's what I did.
Used three people: 1. Inside to keep the RPMs at around 3k to keep the car from stalling. 2. Outside feeding the hose attached to the vacuum line coming out the back of the throttle body. 3. Outside waiting for the feeder to signal to disconnect the cable to stall it. Guess you really only need like two people but we always do this kind of stuff. I'll take some pictures of what I used and where I connected the hose later if you guys want.
