Lame racers... Options

lately, i have noticed that a lot of people around here see my celica and want to race it... by that i mean, pull up to the light, and when it goes green squeel the tires and then tell me they wanna race after they are a cars length ahead of me needless to say, i caught up to the acura and as i was passing and going into 3rd, i missed the gear and then slowed down before anybody decided to flash their red and blue lights at me. oh well..next time if they would tell me what they wanted to do and give me a fair chance....that probably wouldn't have happened heh

Ok your from Washington USA. I thought if someone wished to race over there you rev three times while checking out the opositioned ride. Then wait for your reply by reving back. That Acura guy must of been an amature, either squeeled his wheels cause his an idiot or needed every advantange possible.
Just my thoughts on racing from lights.

I live in an old retirement town. THe cops get really bored, and if you as so much as have your tires squeak just a tiney bit, you're license is gone... Gotta love "Exhibition of speed" laws.

I hate cops like that... Pull you over for nothing... My girlfriend got pulled over once because one taillight was dimmer than the other.

What REALLY pisses me off is that they just passed a new law in california (where I'm at for the next few months) saying that an officer can give you a ticket for a loud exhaust based on their judgement alone. No testing required.

I got pulled over because the cop thought I stole my own car. But I have never had ANYONE rev on me. Guess it just doesn't look that ricey (stock exterior). I know someone with the exact same model, and he put on a supra style wing, and he's been revved on.

oh, there was none of that...they just got up on it and wanted to go, expecting me to know...but i am not sweeting it...and yes...he needed the advantage..cause i caught up w/ him and i only have intake and exhaust....heh
