Since its gotten hot out lately, ive been poping my A/C on and ive found that if im sittin at idel and turn my A/C on and my rpms drop about 100-200rpm. And if im driving say doing 100km/h (60mph) and i turn it on, it feels like some one hits the brakes and drops my speed by around 2km/h..nothing majour in speed difference, but you can feel the engine trying to compansate for it.

Any ideas? besdies a sized compressor?

pretty sure thats normal since you A/C effectively takes up some of your usable HP to run the compressor....

i'd say almost every car that i've owned has done exactly that. Drops in rpms a bit when ac is turned on at idle, and car feels like it lost some speed when ac is turned on while driving.

thats normal, A/C adds resistance to the serpentine belt which slows your RPM's

sounds normal...mine does it a little too but if you notice a large drop check your vacume lines..could be one of them cracked/riped or something
