Can't really open up packages while having the delivery dude standing there waiting for you to check the package content. From what I'm hearing, packing seems horribly done. Though, carriers should come with some sort of basic insurance. Say UPS usually comes with basic $100 insurance even if you didn't purchase it. The only problem is ONLY the shipper can claim money back, receiver can't really do anything. I guess just wait for responses.. Tomaz the receiver CAN approach the shipping company. I remember when I sold my 404 front lip I packed it really nice but the buyer got it broken right in the middle so he sent me pics of it and I told him that I put insurance on it, he went to UPS and file a claim they paid for the lip to get fixed and they didn't even contact me so the receiver actually can complain and file a claim if needed, you just have to do it the right way and within a reasonable time frame. -------------------- ![]() |

Hey culpable if you're sure on that then I'll really need to talk to our UPS representative on that issue.

lol yea you do bro...
but also you are presenting a Commercial side of things.... Kids on here are talking residential....so the process is inherently different and slower paced with residential....though when products are broken the receiver can make the claim, yada yada all on their own regardless |

oh gosh thanks for u guys' help..
anyway, so that means CJOHNST3 can make a claim through the carrier (well if he knows which carrier) for the damage during transit, even if shipper isn't able to provide help at the time. -------------------- |

The carrier dictates who can make a claim. I do alot of ebay stuff and ship and receive items, and fed ex, ups, dhl and yellow etc all have different rules for that stuff - residential / business has never made a difference for me on that - for them it's all business, just a residential address. i'm in limbo, as boosted obviously has other things going on, of course he has little skin in the game - he's got my money, and he's dealing w/ an admin function - his only long term worry is my opinion - and as much as it sucks, he's got no incentive to make this a priority - none |

LOL sorry I never saw this post but yeah I bought culps front lip. When I received the item it was boxed up and they just threw it in my front yard anybody could of stolen it too...but yeah when I opened the box I noticed they're was a big crack from it so I contacted the shipper about it they told me to bring it in to examine oh and you have to cut out the postal code and stuff on the box too. They handled it pretty well, I went they're showed them the damage then they told me to get it fixed at a body shop and bring them the receipt and they'll reimburse me and they did got it done in 2 days.
![]() ![]() Edit: Make sure you call and make an appointment too or your gonna be setting in line for hours... ![]() -------------------- "To Protect And To Serve The Wealthy" -POLICE

Anyone have contact info for Boosted6g, sent him anything ? have an address? I'm not trying to be a jerk, but I sent him a couple hundred dollars and have absolutely nothing to show for it, and he doesn;t respond so I can't follow up with the shipper cause I don't know who it is. I'll do the damn leg work, but right now I have little to go on and I'm out the cash. Any info would be helpful, in fact -
Any info I receive that provides a means to a resolution is worth $50 as a reward. That might be jar someone's memory for a home address. |
