Thanks for the positive feedback guys!!
Yeah, there's plenty of things I'd like to do with my car, the first thing would be a decent stainless exhaust I reckon. All my other cars (especially my previous car - MR2) were modified in one way or other. I did consider getting some side skirts and front spoiler for it, but like you point out, it is a really clean example and I don't want to riun that by adding a body kit. My MR2 had a full body kit and to be honest, it was a pain in the a*se! I did consider replacing the GT-FOUR rear wing because the car, well ain't a GT-FOUR but I kind of like the way it looks as it is, so might leave it. There's a few GT4's driving around near where I live, so I sometimes get funny looks when they see my car. Of course the front end is a dead givaway. I wouldn't mind some new rims either, but I've bought wheels for all my other cars and then ended up selling them with the car and not making much money back. For example, I've got a gorgeuos set of Konig Hurry 17" rims sat in the attic off my MR2. They're gloss black with chrome outer rims and would look superb on my Celi, shame the PCD of the bolt holes 114mm and not 100mm, hence they don't fit! I'll probably just opt for a refurb on the wheels that are on the car already. I don't think I'm gonna be modifying the engine, aside from an air filter, that's about it. It's got the 3rd Gen 3SGE motor, so its good for 178 HP and performs pretty decently if your prepared to use the gears and higher rev band a bit. I think the torque is a bit low though at around 140 Lb/ft. I'll get some more decent pics of it, most of the one's that are on this site were taken on my cell phone so the quality isn't that great. -------------------- |

QUOTE(Jaws4God @ May 17, 2007 - 3:30 PM) man.. I LOVE those rims.. don't sell them! What, you like the rims shown in the pics or the Koning Hurry's I described in my post? I need to refurb the ones that are on the car as they've been "curbed" a couple of times when parking which makes 'em look a bit, well cr*p. Think I'll just concentrate on the exhaust first off but I'm not replacing that till the one that's on it falls apart which shouldn't be long now. Was going for a polished stainless system with a 5" slash-cut tip? What do you think? -------------------- |

I actually really like those rims you've got on there as well. I personally don't like black rims on black cars. But whatever. The car will look really nice either way.

ok, first of all... welcome Very clean Celica. The rims are ok... they would be a lot better if they had a couple inch lip on them IMO. I just love that look. Keep it up

I'll have to wait and see what the future brings. Just gonna keep looking after it, keep on top of the bodywork etc, do the exhaust and filter, then maybe I'll get some new wheels for it. -------------------- |
