Hey,
My driver's side rear power window goes down just fine but has had a heck of a time going up...until last week when now it won't go up at all. I took it in for diagnostic at a toyota dealer/shop and they said it was a burned out window motor and bent window track and it couldn't be repaired, only replaced for $1125. That's a bit insane for a little window imo, so I'm trying to find an alternate solution. Are there any places to get replacement window motors and tracks for less than a grand? There aren't any celi's in local scrapyards, so that's pretty much out. I was considering getting a high-mileage or somewhat damaged 6th gen and using it as a winter vehicle and parts car. If that's the route I go, are the interior parts mostly the same for the coupe, hatchback, and vert? Also, I'm not quite sure if the windows are an exact fit in the different models. Sorry for being so wordy. I'm stressed and looking for solutions! Please help!

im not positive, but i think they are the same, i dont see why they would be different, maybe if you had the different speaker setup but as far as the motor goes im sure it would be the same and probably the tracks too, but if your car has the 8 speaker setup then im not sure if the stuff from a hatchback with say the 4 speaker setup would work.

The rear windows are not the same. I believe that only the 'vert has the rear windows that go up and down. I think there are a few 'verts being parted out in the FS section, Nekronos comes to mind, but I bought some of his rear window stuff, you might want to see what he's got left.
