I think your install looks good, sorry to hear you had a lot of problems with it, mine went together really well. The hardest part was removing the box from the fender where the filter goes. Did you have to cut the hole bigger where the L shaped piece goes down into the fender? It looks like you have a lot of room there. My pipe just fit in the hole.

yeah, i had to cut the hole by A LOT. i think it's because when i first bought my car, it was in an accident and the motor shifted towards the passenger side. then when we pulled everything back again, the motor's probably still sitting more towards the passenger side than it should be. which is why i had to cut the hole more towards the passenger side in order for the L-pipe to go through it.

now that i think about it, i probably should have flipped the L-pipe using the longer side to connect to the S-Pipe and just cut it down to length, then have the shorter end to mount the intake on.

So what is wrong with the 94-96 Celica Cold Air Intakes on ebay? Do they not fit as well or somethin?

Also has anyone here with a 94 GT tried the 90-93 honda cai? JW before I go ahead and buy one.

I'm pretty sure quite a few people have used the same intake on the GTs.

And from what I've seen a lot of people have said that the celi CAI on ebay actually seem to put the filter closer to the headers which results in hotter air.

There's also a how to in the how to section about building your own ordering piping from the JCW site. Seems to run the piping a little close to the headers but looks like it might be easier than digging out the old box.

95st, you say you had to remove the wheel well plastic and you also say you bent it back. Did you just bend it or did you have to actually remove some plastic from the well permanently to get this to fit?

Nice work btw! smile.gif

good to know Redline. I was looking at those ChromeIntakes ones on ebay also. Sorry to hear it didn't work. : \

those intakes cost more than the honda accord cai and they are not worth crap man somebody should email them and tell them that the intake is not worth the trouble and they dont even fit right

Well I just ordered one, but I'd rather have a blue cone than red. Does anyone know the size of cone I need to get?
