in most cases , its really depends more on the condition of the motor, more so the amount of miles.
typicly tho, 150K+ is not the best time to think about turboing a motor.
i cant remember how many miles vins had when we turboed it. im sure he'll post once he sees this tho wink.gif

compression and leak down test will tell you if you should or not.

any local shop should be able to preform at least the compression test.

when i turbo mine it was close to 130k miles. but mine was in a pretty good condition and installed by J.D.M. guy wink.gif after more than 10k miles it's still running strong. but yea like manny said.. with that many miles you should consider swapping. but if you really are determined to turbo it.. do wat angry mike said. and also change head gasket, check for annnnnny leaks etc.
