Hey,
I need a new exhaust for my 3sgte celica. Im running stock gt exhaust right now. Im thinking about either buying pre-bent mandrel piping and welding it myself. Or getting 3" piping and buying an exhaust bender ($150 shipped on ebay) and bending the pipe myself. I know that bending it myself will restrict it more than the mandrel pipe, but money is an issue right now. Does anyone know where I can get piping for a good price? Or how much do muffler shops charge? I went to a few and they turned me down. The shops said they dont want to be liable if it scrapes the ground.....bla...bla...bla rolleyes.gif
Any suggestions??? Thank you!

buy some mandrel bends, cut them and weld them. the diy bender will give you horrible results.

Yea, I was just doing some research on stainless steel 409 with mandrel. It seems itll cost $200 at least not including shipping or a muffler. I guess Ill have to do that. Unless I can find a cheaper distributor of mandrel piping. What muffler is recommended. Sorry I've read it before, just cant remember.

$200 to bend a catback? You guys need to shop around. I got mine and several others on here done for $100 in SS and $75 in CS. All you bring is the muffler. I've never paid over that and I've had many many exhausts done.

MANDREL bend. Very different from a typical exhaust shop doing typical exhausts.

I think Im going to get the mandrel bent pipe and weld it together myself. Im guessing I can get everything I need for about $300 shipped in stainless.
