Mitsu retired the 4g63 in lue of the 4b11t, 2.0L turbo aluminum open deck block with iron sleeves and MIVEC. Rumored power output around 300-320hp. Also is the new SAWC (super all wheel control) system with the US first active yaw control.

is this the actual evolution? cuz i saw a commerical today for the normal lancer and it looks like this. i hope this isnt how the evolution is gonna look. i would be very sad =[

Current Evo 9 and 8 look like the current lancer. Its always been like that since the Evo has been in the states. Besides, i think the new lancer is 100X nicer inside and out than the old one. Plus the new lancer is more ridgid than the old Evo. If this translates to the Evo X, that can only mean good things!!

Deff two thumbs down. they lost there originality and rally look, looks the same as the new acura's and hondas and the subaru crap basicly swapped the front/rear bumpers, lights and called it good.

Ive already seen one of these things driving around Toronto a few times. Not a bad looking car, but compaired to the old lancers, or even old evos...ugly. Personaly, ive never been a fan of any DSM or Mitsu car, so to me, its just another ugly car. Also, ill see if i can get my friend to send me the pics, he has tons of them for this car, but they ruined the dash by intagrating a 2" autometer style gauge in there thats just a clock. The seats are ugly as sin too.

Current Evo 9 and 8 look like the current lancer. Its always been like that since the Evo has been in the states.

the evos today compared to the lancer have completely different bodies. the evo X and this lancer look like they have the exact same body besides the back and front plastic part.

anyways, like creis, two thumbs down for me.

Yeah, before I was going to attempt to sell my kidney's on the black market to make the mirage like the evolution VI (As best I could), they came out with the Lancer. Which put me on hold for a little bit. Then the Evolution, and I was like "Oooooooooh, ok then. I am over it".

By the way, in my own opinion......... New Cars are ugly. And if you agree with me, then wait until you see the supra they are thinking about putting out. Barf!

yeah looks great i seen it about a year ago, i am glad they kept it looking like this, the best part is gonna be the HP the say well over 300 this time around, maybe 350hp??!? but i heard that it maybe only come with that F1 paddle shifter crap, that would be a disaster. If its still a 6M then i am gonna get it.
