The Profec b spec II is a real pita to set up. I would say get the Type-S if you chose Greddy.

at the moment its stock boost but i want to run 17/18 psi with the apexi power fc and be able to change it from 17 to 10psi -once tunned.
i am going to get coil, spark plugs, rotor arm, distributor cap and leads as well. but just want to get the boost controller first as its the dearest. im not worried about brand name. whats dual solnoid mean in terms of the controllers efficiency in doing the job? would the blitz one be better then the greddy profec b? dual selnoid is better because you have 2 smaller selnoids that can react faster then one big one. i hear nothing but great things about the blitz.
the greddy spec2 is ok, but a few people have had issues with them. mostly because of how confusing it is to use. i have the greddy type-s. its super simple to use and has worked well for me, but it doesn't have a few features that the spec 2 does. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
