Failed E-test...awsome Options

So my car is registered under my dads name and his birthday is coming up on thursday. And here in Ontario, the first of the month of your birthday, your plates expire, and also every 2 years you have to go out and get an emmisions test done. So aka my plates are expired and i dont have an e-test done. So i bring my car to Crappy Tire to get the test done, the guy runs the car without the fan. Hot engine bay + no cooling = hot combustion chamber = not passing emissions. Well, that and my EGR valve is stuck. So i get the results back, says FAIL on the paper in black, so i take a better look at all my readings, my NoX was nuts. In Ontario running test it should be no more than somethin like 504PPM or somethin like that, i managed to blow a 1253 . Whoops. So now i gotta go out and buy a new EGR valve tomorrow, another $260 out of my pocket, and hopefully dont have any cops seeing my tags are expired. Fun day eh?
