ok so i started taking the transmission out and i ran into a few problems... please help
1. dropping the subframe - got all the bolts except the clamps around the control arms, any idea on an easy way to do this? i can't seem to get a wrench or socket in there... 2. a have a celica GT automatic and theres a bar that runs from the torque converter housing to the bottom of the intake manifold... how in balls do you get that thing off so i can get off the torque converter housing.... i think thats all for right now.... if you could PM any replies, that would allow me to check them from my cell phone tomorrow when i'm working on it.... -------------------- Breaking Axles...

1 what clamps ? got a pic ? sway bar bushing brackets ? end links ? tie rod end ?
also, do don't need to remove the subframe, just the front to back cross member and mounts. You should be able to guide the tranny out that way. 2 that's the manifold stay. One bolt up top (12mm), and one nut on the bottom (14mm). -------------------- |
