st185 is 2nd gen, he asked for 3rd or 4th meaning st205 or I think st215 for the caldina... toysport could get it for ya, but you will literaly have to pack your arm and leg and send it to em, possibly a kidney, and a few liters of blood.

surprisingly, TOYSPORT sometimes has decent prices. i remember they had an AE92 clip for about 1800, which is the same price as Jarco, INC. also mac, give Jarco a shot, they can prolly get you one, and Venus Auto can also prolly get you one. i know TPA or w/e is generally waaaaaaaaaay outrageously expensive. I'm with Mynzeyes PLEASE DO NOT GO TO Tpautomotive their price for JUST a St205 front clip is 4800 bucks then add shipping. I called and the only one they had had like 112K miles on it I got my FRONT and REAR clip of an ST205 from Jarco for 4500 then shipping. 300 bucks less for the whole car. And it only has 57,000 miles on it |

Hmm...go with Jarco, man. Matt seems to have had good business with them. While we're on the subject, what are the power ratings for the ST215 motor? And another question, is it possible to get the ST215 motor swapped into the Celica GT platform?

Toysport has more st215 motors then 205's. Same engine, same mounts, 3 more HP for some reason. Everything would fit just fine into a gt with little to no modification.

Would aftermarket parts for the 3rd-gen 3S-GTE fit the 4th-gen 3S-GTE?

technically there is no 4th gen 3s-gte, there is only the third, which means toyota just change what they rated the motor... all parts should be exactly the same.

so would it be better to go with the 4th gen? or should a celica just have a celica motor? and will most of the same aftermarket parts still fit? kuya?

Yeah, that's what I was wondering. Will the 3rd gen parts fit the newer engine?
