Hey everyone,
My girlfriend wants me to put real chrome metal lining around my interior plastics. I have seen these kits for sale on ebay, but i have never seen them installed. Does anyone have any picks of one of these kits installed? Please post picks so i can decide if its a good idea or not. |

Yeah, chrome overlays would be a driving hazard for glare reasons. Buy my trim pieces and paint them an aluminum or chrome color with spray paint (you'll use the additional trim as "testers" just in case you don't want to paint the trim pieces you already have and take the risk of not liking them). Paint looks so much better than overlays because it's smoother and there are no fitment issues. It's also less expensive.

But it looks pretty sweet though? Yea it's good make sure though you fix the cut, its not 100% perfectly lined up. Which ones r u looking at? It is sweet, it's a good choice if u dont wanna paint it. If you like chrome a lot too, try chrome glossy vinyl and just go crazy in your interior. |

QUOTE(95CelicaST @ Feb 23, 2007 - 10:22 AM) too much bling bling for me. Its not really bad in real life, especially compared to that maxima (imo that maxima pic of it sucks). It reflects what you have, and since my car interior is all black, its really nice. |

haha wait a minute. you're letting you girlfriend influence you on the mods you put in your car? haha more power to ya buddy, but not my route. chrome would be really annoying after a while, in the sun and what not. but hey, you can get a tan while you drive!

pull on it has hard as you can, people say you will break a tab, if you do dont worry it, the vent will still stay in place. its not biggie, just pry it out with a screwdriver or something
