depends on your goal and what you want out of the car. the sky is the limit.

have you tried turning up the boost? the ct26 should keep you happy for a while with just a boost controller. how many psi is your car at now?

ats has a few options. Looks like they have ct-26 upgrades, and they have their own ct-27 which is just a ct-26 rebuilt to their own specs. Hope this helps. smile.gif

lagos.......arent you running like 16-17 psi with the water injection? Im sure if he got WI and cranked it up to 16 it would keep most content for a while. mine pulls nicely at 12psi

yeah... thats why im saying that the ct26 has a lot more to give him. he made about 180hp on the dyno at around 8psi iirc... and my car is at 247hp270tq at 16psi with WI... so that just goes to show how much more power you can gain without buying a new turbo.

dont get me wrong tho .. the ct26 is limited, but it should be more then enough to keep someone happy for a lot longer then a month after their swap.

well, its good to know that 8 psi is around 180 hp. and 16 psi is about 240 hp. I went to the track and ran 8 psi and only ran a 15.0 1/4 mile mad.gif . I wasnt too proud of this. Thats why I ordered the ebc, the mbc wouldnt stay consistant so I turned it down. plus the synchros in this trans suck! Im going to try some synchromesh and keep my fingers crossed. kindasad.gif

just from my own ass dyno ... at 8psi the car just feels like a dog. but still a hell of a lot better then the 5sfe. at around 10psi ... its quick. 13psi it starts to come alive...and 15-16psi .. it screams. you just have to make sure you have the tools to monitor things correctly as you keep turning up the boost, because the more power you make, the more risk there is of something going wrong.

take things one step at a time. learn about how things work and why, and try to do your own work to try to learn as much as you can about your car. then when your ready, youll know if something like water injection is the way you want to go. google "water injection".
