Hi Guys,

I have a question regarding the Superstrut Suspension on my SS-II.

There is a part which I need to replace on my front left side suspension but do not know what it is..confused.gif

Basically if you look at the shock/damper, there is an insert which slides down into the middle of the shock.
From the description I got, it sounded like it was the internals of the shock that was in need of replacement.

This insert/internals are what I need to replace, anyone know what this is, where I can get a picture of it, or where to find the part number?

Sorry for the vague description...
(I have not actually seen the part but my mechanic was describing it to me)

Any suggestions would be great, I really need to replace this during the next few days..

Thanks!

hey, what actually is superstrut suspension and what are the advantages/disadvantages in it?

and are there any troubles lowering by just putting in new springs? like just under 2" or is a better/safer to go 1.5"?

Advantages: The Super Strut can adjust the camber during cornering. Get a better grip to eliminate the under steering of the FF and 4WD car.
Disadvantages: Expensive!
And it is not recommend to drop too low, I think 1.5" is OK. Because too low will affect the geometry setting of the super strut.
