what are these 2 brackets for, on the upper bumper/rad support support? are they just there to give a little added support to the top of the bumper cover?

i am collecting parts for the gt4 bumper. right now i have the cover, upper/lower grilles, retainer and seal. looks like it has a different contour so dont i need that support bar for the the retainer to screw in to?

edit- if so, what is the part number since it doesnt appear to be in the stickies

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.
