I know someone has probably asked this before, and I could/should search for it , but im very lazy ( Because im browsing on my mobile phone, im going to have to open loads of different windows!)

Can anybody tell me we what should come with the projectors (just the four lights? Do they come with bulbs or will the non-projector bulbs fit? Do they need different wiring?)

Also ive read that front bumper has to be removed, is this true, if so is there any way around this for installation as this would be a major problem for me!

Thanks in advance, Aus

Each light comes in its own box. Bulb shouldn't be included.

Some resellers include bulbs and/or bulb adaptors with the boxes, so you actually end up with more than 4 boxes being delivered. But you do need to cueck with your supplier before ordering if it is important to you. As supplied from Toyota it is just the lamp cases, one per box, with the two boxes for the inners taped togethther and the two boxes for the outers taped together.

sorry, what I meant to ask is what parts should be supplied, ie what is required to install the projectors. I may be buying a set of second hand set projectors quite cheap (relatively!) but they are only selling the four units, and I wanted to make sure if they would fit straight on to my car, or if I would have to buy seperate wiring convertor/adaptor? I take it if they dont come with bulbs, I will need to buy different bulbs than standard?

Btw, how easy is it to 'un-smooth' a front lip? The problem is that when I installed my Eurou front lip, I got it smoothed into the bodywork (Dont ask why, long story!), and as the front bumper has to be removed to install the lights, the lip would have to be removed fist!

i got mine from toyota world, lows came with h1 bulbs and 194 bulbs for the side parts, highs no bulbs, but they use the normal 9005 bulbs in your stockers, you will need to rig up a harness for the h1 bulb and for the 194 bulbs, theres a howto posted up on this, just get an h3 (yes 3) harness with pig tails, you can take the middle one out if you want (what i did so it looks cleaner) or leave it in and use it as a supply for your 194 bulbs if you want easy wiring, then just tin the ends of the pigtails, and plug them into the stock 9006 harness, put some shrink wrap or tape to keep the elements out. connect up your 194 bulbs for extra coolness, i suggest replacing the 194 bulbs with inverted led's so if gives your car that "expensive" look, wire them up to a switch if you want or some power supply n your set. the biggest pain is taken the bumper off. - i see your side skirts arent "smoothed" to the fenders, so you could always take the fenders off along with the bumper, itd just be a problem gettin to the 2 bolts that are on that brace thing under the low beam lights

Thanks for the info mate, but the problem I have is that the sideskirts are also smoothed into the front wings (fenders!), so it is gonna be a hard job getting them off without butchering the bondo or whatever the guy at the bodyshop used to blend the kit into the bodywork! I think that the projector project maybe put on hold for a little while frown.gif

you can do what I did... I had thw body shop cut my splitters in half. It cut goes right with the seperation of the front bumper and the fender.... So when I undo my front bumper, half of my splittters come off.
