well yes , i sprayed it with a lil dulling coat cause it was too shiny , i didnt want any glare like effect ...also it looks white in the pictures ( cant deny) ....i live in southern cali so a northern cali meeting would be a bit too far for me .

i have not searched arround for part nombers for the trim peices but i would expect it to be quite expensive ... you can try junk yards and stuff and see if you can find an interior intact that way you will have back-up pieces ..... i am starting to see some scratches here and there in my painted parts which really get on my nerves , its not really clear but i tend to be a perfectionist.......what i am trying to say is there is no way you will do it to be "factory" yes it will probably go bad in a while but you can always do it agian and again .......trust me its worth it , it makes the interior look like a new car's interior

carve through the entire trim piece, or just the paint? Why not stick a Celica badge there, or soak it in paint thinner and take off all the paint, stick on the badge, and THEN repaint it... then remove the badge so it is red, but says Celica in black.

just an idea thumbsup.gif

maybe its just me, but i would advise not to carve/cut anything out of your dash peices. i guess ive just had bad experience, but if i tried something like that i would have the peice looking like crap frown.gif

Do the sticker idea like 95CelicaST was saying thumbsup.gif
