whats with 5s engine? so it gets crappy gas mileage, crappy horespower output, and now i find out it weighs almost as much as a 345 hp LS1?

at least its sexy though....

i tipped 2720 at the dragstrip yesterday, full tank of gas and me in it. sans backseat and spare, though. if you subtract me and add the rest of the interior, it's probably about 2670.

What's with it? Its cheap! The 5s is why so many Americans swap out the engine for a 3s or something else.
