I recently returned home from school for the summer and noticed that my CF hood has all kinds of cracks/scratches all over it now. What can I do to fix this?

If the scratches are not too deep, then you can wet sand with 600 grit, 1000 grit, 1500, and then 2000. once you do that most the scratches should come out, and then you can buff to a clear shine smile.gif

If they are anything like the cracks in my hood you're probably f****d, mine go down to the carbon fiber. good luck with yours.

yeeeouch!! thats horrible man. if it was superficial id say just sand it and regloss it but those go all the way down to the cf. im out of ideas short of using negative pressure to inject gloss resin inbetween the cracks
